The selected grapes come from the highest point of the La Ripa estate, comprising the Querce and Il Poggio vineyards. The exposure and microclimate in these areas give the grapes great concentration and richness.

VINEYARDS 1.70 ha, 250–300 m above sea level, southwest exposure, clay-limestone soils with a slight presence of gravel
WINEMAKING Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled concrete vats with punching down and pumping over. Fermentation and maceration last 10–15 days.
AGEING The wine is aged for approximately 18–20 months in untoasted, first-use French oak barriques.
