Our wine


This Brunello from the Sesta microzone, one of the best crus of Montalcino, has a very important body with good acidity, excellent extracts and great aromas, as the vineyards are at adequate heights. The color is a beautiful bright ruby red with an intriguing violet reflection, which changes to garnet as the years pass. The nose offers an intense bouquet with fine and complex aromas with lively balsamic hints that bring the wine into depth. If in the cool vintages the notes turn floral, in the warmer ones they bring out a mélange of fruity fullness, primarily cherry in alcohol and in the finish tobacco, humus, tar and cocoa. In the mouth the tannin is silky and fine with important mineral fractions, which provide flavour. After refinement in the bottle, the wine becomes vertical and the tannins become enveloping in the mouth. The aging potential of these long-lived Brunellos is very interesting, as they are a faithful expression of the terroir.
