PRODUCT INFORMATION
When we talk about Bruno Giacosa, we enter the elite of Italian winemaking, a true legend; the winery's pinnacle is undoubtedly the Riserva obtained from the estate's finest vineyard, Le Rocche del Falletto.
The Barolo DOCG Riserva Le Rocche del Falletto Bruno Giacosa is an extremely traditional Barolo, produced with long maceration in concrete tanks and a subsequent 36 months of aging in large oak barrels. The "Riserva" designation on the label appears only in the finest vintages.
Le Rocche del Falletto is a garnet-red Barolo. The aroma is ample, complex, and elegant, with floral notes of rose, ripe fruit, truffle, and spices. The flavor is dry, full, generous, harmonious, and velvety. A wine of aristocratic quality.
This is one of those wines truly capable of defying time, which will retain its characteristics for decades to come. If you're a wine enthusiast, you simply must have at least one of these bottles in your cellar.
