GRECHETTO Although believed to originate in Greece, Grechetto has been growing in these parts for so long that its natural habitat is Umbria.

Vinification and Aging Hand-harvested – fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15°C for approximately 18-20 days. Aged in stainless steel for 6 months, with an additional two months in the bottle.
Aroma and Flavor Thick-skinned, Grechetto offers citrus aromas of white peach and melon. It makes a perfect aperitif, but also pairs well with various white meat, fish, and seafood dishes.
Certified organic vineyard with a southern exposure at 490–530 meters above sea level. Soil: Ocean floor, consisting of sedimentary clay, gravelly sand, and alluvial silt with marine fossils (shells and oysters). Density approx. 5200 vines/ha. Yield: 35hl/ha. Spurred cordon training system.
