SOIL TYPE: Strong presence of limestone areas rich in Alberese and Gabbro, pebbles and stones, and partially clayey.
VINIFICATION: Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, concluded at the end of October. The wine ages in oak barrels, mostly second and third-use French oak, previously used for Guidalberto. The wine is then transferred to stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 3-4°C to ensure the right tartaric stability before bottling. It then ages in bottle for 3 months before being released for sale.

NOTES: The 2024 vintage began with a cold and rainy autumn, followed by a mild and dry winter, which favored earlier heat accumulation than in 2023. Between late February and March, colder weather returned with continuous rains that allowed the replenishment of water reserves. The cool temperatures of March did not hinder the regular vegetative revival. An initially warm and sunny April led to early and very uniform bud break, without significant drops in temperature. Only in the second half of the month did development slow due to a return of cold and rain, fortunately without frost or snowfall. May and June created optimal conditions for flowering and fruit set. July was warm but well-ventilated, with veraison occurring about a week earlier. August maintained high temperatures, cooled by a disturbance on mid-August. Phenolic ripening was completed in balance with technical ripening thanks to cool nights, significant temperature swings, and optimal vegetative conditions.
