Freshness and balance are the hallmarks of Aria di Caiarossa, a blend of five grape varieties that introduces the winery's production philosophy. It stands out for its smooth approach, balsamic aromas, and high-quality tannins. Aria di Caiarossa is a Tuscan red wine that reflects the balance between power and finesse, born in the hilly vineyards of Riparbella, where biodiversity and biodynamic cultivation guide every decision of the Caiarossa winery. Composed of a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grenache, it fully expresses the richness and complexity of the terroir. The manually selected grapes are vinified separately in concrete and wooden vats, with spontaneous fermentation and delicate maceration. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in French oak barrels, a process that aims to enhance balance, varietal expression, and territorial character. It ages in French barriques and tonneaux for an average of 14 months, using approximately 25% new wood. After blending, it ages for approximately 6 months in concrete tanks before bottling. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, aromatic herbs, and licorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with soft tannins, good freshness, and a long finish that concludes with elegant and harmonious sensations. Perfect with red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses.
