Tramonto d’Oca represents one of Poggio Bonelli's finest expressions of quality. It features a distinctive ruby ??red color with garnet hues due to long aging. The complexity of the aromas anticipates the attack on the palate, which is progressive and highly persistent. It opens with a range of sensations ranging from red fruit jam to spices (pepper, cinnamon), and finally recalls tobacco and cocoa.
Vinification: In stainless steel vats and under strict temperature control (maximum 28-30°C). After fermentation, long maceration on the skins (18-20 days)
Aging: 18 months in French oak barrels, followed by extended bottle aging
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
