Rosso di Montepulciano is where Sangiovese rocks, enhanced by the smooth richness of Merlot. This combination creates a lively, fruity wine that overflows with bright red fruits, soft tannins and a touch of elegance. The vibrant acidity of Sangiovese is perfectly complemented by the velvety texture of Merlot, resulting in a balanced and inviting wine with depth and charm. It is an energetic expression of two iconic varieties in perfect harmony. PRODUCTION NOTES The manual harvest is carried out towards the middle of September, the fermentation and maceration processes take place for a duration of 15-20 days in steel tanks at a temperature of 25-26°C. The racking then takes place with a consequent lowering of the temperature of the wine to 18-20° to allow the malolactic fermentation to begin. The aging takes place in traditional 3500 lt. and 500 lt. French oak barrels for 6 months.
