In the glass it presents intense garnet red reflections. On the nose aromas of small red fruits, strawberries and currants. Then pomegranate and the unmistakable violet scent of good Sangiovese. In the background a touch of vanilla, sweet spices and licorice. On the palate it is well balanced with hints of ripe cherry and plum, supported by precise and elegant tannins. The body is warm and enveloping and the drink indulges in a long persistence.

WINEMAKING 20-25 days of maceration at controlled temperature. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out by yeasts selected from our pied de cuve.
REFINEMENT At least 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels, barriques and oak tonneaus (500 litres) and at least 6 months in the bottle
