SOIL Sedimentary soils of marine origin, calcareous with variable amounts of clay and sand from the Pleistocene era (3 million - 120,000 years ago) in Le Capezzine, Lodola, and Matracchio. Of Pliocene origin (3-5 million years ago) in I Poggetti, Le Badelle, Banditella, and El Grasso. VINEYARD DESCRIPTION The vines range in age from 12 to 42 years. They are trained using the alberello, Guyot, and spurred cordon systems at an altitude of 270 to 375 meters above sea level, with a vine density ranging from 2,564 to 7,158 vines per hectare. The production philosophy of Nobile Avignonesi is deeply rooted in the balance and typicality of the terroir. Made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, all estate-grown, the wine has a medium-bodied structure, delicate tannins, and a unique flavor profile. Our Nobile is the exact embodiment of the Sangiovese grape variety grown in the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano appellation. In its early stages, it surprises with its exceptional drinkability and pleasantness, and as the years pass, it continues to amaze with its remarkable aging potential. V
