PRODUCT INFORMATION

DESCRIPTION OF THE GRAPPA GENTILE WITH ROMANO LEVI CHAMOMILE
The Grappa Gentile alla Camomilla signed by Romano Levi is presented in the tasting phase with an extraordinary and exciting balance. Obviously the protagonist of aromas and tastes is chamomile, processed according to the method of Lidia, Romano's sister, capable of becoming important without ever being exaggerated or too “charged”. A perfect label to cheer the more relaxing after dinner, those in which you want to give yourself moments of tranquility and lightheartedness.

Romano Levi's Grappa Gentile alla Camomilla originates from the processing of the pomace of Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera, coming from different production areas classified as particularly suitable. The distillation uses a discontinuous copper alembic which operates on direct fire. Once the final Grappa is obtained, the fragrant chamomile flower heads are left to macerate directly in it, responsible for the olfactory profile of the final product. The final refinement phase lasts 6 months and takes place in 700 liter barrels. At the end of this period the Grappa is ready to be bottled and placed on the market.

Grappa Romano Levi lights up in the glass with an amber color. The nose develops on a simple and delicate, subtle olfactory texture, which recalls an aromatic profile in which chamomile alternates with fruity and woody touches. It enters the mouth with a soft and round sip, in which the flavor of chamomile is predominant, and also affirms itself in the finish, long and persistent. A label that comes from an ancient recipe contained in the diaries of Lidia Levi, Romano's sister who dedicated her life to collecting and cataloging the most representative herbs and flowers of the entire Piedmont area.
