Alcohol by volume % 13.5% Total acidity ‰ : 4.9‰ Harvest The grapes were hand-picked and destemmed between 3 and 18 September 2021. Winery | Aging Following harvest, the grapes are then macerated for 4/8 hours at a temperature of 14°C directly in the presses, protected from oxygen with innovative systems by recycling their own fermentation carbon, in order to reduce the intake of antioxidants. The must ferments and ages on the yeasts for 6 months partly in large 20/27 HL wooden barrels and partly in steel containers. Bottling The wine is then assembled and bottled in correspondence with the full moons between March and July 2022. Emotional Information Color The shade varies depending on the vintage; this year it is pleasantly coppery. Olfactory note It is fresh and lively on the nose, with a floral bouquet, hints of yellow peach and light mineral notes. Tasting note It is enveloping on the palate, with fresh and savoury sensations. The fruity notes return and close in the mouth maintaining a good minerality. To accompany with Appetizers and canapés, especially ham, light soups, grilled fish and white meats. Serving temperature 12/13°C Aging potential over 10 years A pleasant wine, easy to drink, fresh, playful, with a wide range of combinations and which is especially suitable for daily consumption. These characteristics have certainly contributed to the wide diffusion of this wine throughout the world, with a particularly high success in the USA and the United Kingdom. It is rather difficult, however, to find versions of quality, structure and character that still maintain its liveliness and light-heartedness. The coppery Pinot Grigio "Jesera" aims to be just this: playful and easy to drink, but still a bearer of personality and terroir.
