Vinification and refinement The grapes of the Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG are harvested manually between September 25th and October 21st. After a soft pressing and destemming, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. The wine undergoes aging for 18 months in 30 Hl barrels.
Technical characteristics of the wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG by Tenuta Cappellina is an intense ruby ??red. On the nose it releases intense aromas of blackberries, currants and raspberries, with a finish that closes with hints of herbs. On the palate it is dry, warm and soft characterized by a silky tannin and a great structure and body.
Food pairings and serving temperature Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG by Tenuta Cappellina is perfect to accompany first and second courses based on meat and mature cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is 16°-18°C.
