The grapes are harvested both manually and mechanically, ensuring accurate and timely selection. Once in the cellar, the grapes are transferred to stainless steel tanks where they ferment at a controlled temperature, preserving the aromas and characteristics of the grape variety.
The skin contact period lasts approximately two weeks, with constant extraction monitoring to achieve the best expression of color, body, and tannins. Subsequently, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, also in stainless steel, an essential step in refining the structure and softening the organoleptic profile.
The process continues with approximately 12 months of aging in Slavonian oak barrels, a traditional material that enhances the wine's complexity and elegance. Finally, the wine rests in the bottle to complete its maturation and develop a harmonious and persistent bouquet, ready to be appreciated by Chianti Classico lovers.
This meticulous process guarantees a balanced and high-quality wine that captures the full essence of the Tuscan terroir.
