Chianti Classico—Brancaia's only red wine not aged in oak—is a tribute to our terroir. This pure Sangiovese captivates with its lightness and delicate cherry notes, typical of this variety. After 12 months of aging in stainless steel and cement, this wine offers great drinking pleasure even in its youth. It is a wonderful Chianti with a truly captivating linearity. Once again, we'd like to hear from Monica Larner (Robert Parker). Regarding the 2014 Chianti Classico, she wrote: "Brancaia is best known for its excellent results with international grape varieties, but it also manages to produce a Sangiovese of excellent quality." Ideal with: cured meats, cheeses, pasta, poultry, and grilled meats. Our favorite pairing: Margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil. Description CHIANTI CLASSICO is a tribute to our terroir. This pure Sangiovese is captivating for its simplicity and ripe cherry notes, one of the variety's signature aromas. It stands out for its brilliant color, and on the palate, a pleasant freshness meets firm, youthful tannins.
