Grand Cru Extra Brut V.P. by Egly-Ouriet is a Champagne made from grapes (70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, of which approximately 50% are reserve wines) harvested from the grand crus of the Montagne de Reims, on chalky, south-facing soils, cultivated with great care and respect for the environment. After the white vinification process, the base wines rest for several months before the final cuvée is created. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise method, with a minimum aging period on the lees of six years.
