La Closerie & Extra Brut
The “La Closerie &” Champagne from the iconic Jerome Prevost is a pure Pinot Meunier harvested from the estate vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. The grapes are harvested strictly by hand when fully ripe. After gentle pressing, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation takes place in small French oak barrels. After several months of maturation, the vintage wine is blended with 20% reserve wines. After sur lie aging, the wine is finally disgorged and dosed as Extra Brut.
La Closerie & is a champagne with rich and expansive aromatics, dominated by pear and apple. On the palate, it is complex, structured, balanced in the mid-palate, persistent, and captivating in its long finish.
