A pure Sangiovese from a selection of the finest grapes from our vineyards; it matures in 30hl Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months, followed by at least 6 months of bottle aging. Marrying tradition and modern technology, Brunello has always been a great wine, certainly important and extremely enjoyable to drink. When young, it is rich in fruity and floral aromas; when mature, it acquires complex, ethereal characteristics, revealing a broad bouquet with hints of undergrowth. Ruby red color, tending toward garnet with age. Intense, ample, fine aromas, fruity (ripe red fruit) and spicy (tobacco and licorice). Dry, warm, smooth palate, velvety tannins, balanced, very intense and persistent, refined and full-bodied.

A classic wine for red meats, roasts, game, and venison. Suitable for Tuscan, Italian, and international cuisine; also excellent with cheeses.
