The 2020 season was characterized by a mild and dry winter, which favored a rapid budding of the plants starting from the last week of March. The good weather conditions continued also during the spring, with some light rain especially in the month of May, which allowed a normal vegetative development of the plants until the flowering phase which occurred in the first days of June. Between the second and third week of June the rains arrived, very important at this stage for the formation and growth of the newly set grapes as well as to face the summer season, which proved to be very hot and dry until August. Towards the end of August there were three very important rains which brought relief to the plants and removed the risk of excessive stress. The harvest took place on September 23, with perfect grapes, both in terms of health and ripeness, also thanks to the temperature changes between night and day that occurred in the last weeks near the harvest. TASTING NOTES The color is bright ruby ??red. On the nose it shows a complex and fascinating bouquet, with notes of red fruits that intertwine with violets and sweet spices. In the mouth it is full-bodied and vibrant, with a beautiful freshness and ripe tannins that leave the palate with pleasant notes of citrus and spices.
