Tenuta di Sesta's Brunello di Montalcino RISERVA DOCG has always been the end result of meticulous agronomic work in the estate's three finest vineyards registered in the Brunello Register. Since the Duelecci vineyard has been the best of these for several years, it was decided to dedicate this prestigious bottle to it. The vineyard enjoys excellent exposure, extending along the gentle slope of a hill on the southern side of Montalcino, where all the estate's vineyards are located. Depending on the season, the Duelecci Riserva will be produced either in the eastern or western section of this vineyard: the very stony soil on the eastern side lends itself to this use in cooler years, while the less rocky soil on the western side best expresses its qualitative potential in drier years. The Brunello Riserva DUELECCI EST or DUELECCI OVEST will define the character of the vintage right from the label.
