The powerful Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore from Tenuta Argentiera presents itself in the glass with a dense purple color. On the nose, this red wine from Tenuta Argentiera reveals all kinds of blackberries, blueberries, blackcurrants and mulberries. As if that were not already impressive, the aging in small wooden barrels adds additional aromas such as black tea, vanilla and oriental spices.
This red from Tenuta Argentiera is suitable for all wine lovers who want the lowest possible residual sugar. However, it is never austere or fragile, but round and soft. The structure of this powerful red wine is wonderfully dense on the palate. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, the Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Tuscany, more precisely from the DOC Bolgheri, finally impresses with a good finish.
Vinification of Tenuta Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore The basis for the first-class and wonderfully powerful cuvée of Tenuta Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the cellar as quickly as possible. Here they are carefully selected and pressed. Fermentation takes place in small oak barrels at a controlled temperature. The vinification is followed by 14 months of aging in French oak barrels.
