Gaja's Barbaresco is a wine of immense richness and expressiveness, produced by a legendary winery in the Langhe. The Barbaresco red is made from pure Nebbiolo grapes, grown in the renowned Piedmontese municipality that gives the denomination its name. The bunches, selected with almost obsessive care, come from 14 estate-owned vineyards located at altitudes ranging from 250 to 330 meters above sea level, while the extremely low yields, typical of Gaja, hover around 40 hl. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, and aging includes six months in barriques and another 18 in large oak barrels. Longevity is unquantifiable!

The Barbaresco wine reveals itself in the glass with an intense ruby ??color that shifts toward garnet with age. A truly rich nose, capable of combining two souls, one more typical and traditional and the other more modern.
