Soil: The vineyard from which this wine comes is located at an altitude
ranging from 250 to 280 meters above sea level. The soil, rich in
cavernous limestone, features tuffaceous soils.
Training system: Spurred cordon
Vine density per hectare: 5,000
Wine yield: 55/60 hl/ha
Tasting notes: Straw yellow color with golden reflections.
A Vernaccia of great character, sharp and pure in its aromatic notes, with a
firm grip on the palate, lively, rhythmic, appropriately complex, with
precious mineral notes and acidity that guarantee a secure future.
Pairings: Tartare, carpaccio, baked fish, white meats, fresh or semi-mature cheeses,
soups, risottos, fried meats and seafood, meats and
roasts.
Harvest: Hand-picked starting in the last ten days of September.
Grape selection and hand-picking.
Vinification: Whole-cluster maceration on the skins. Soft pressing
of whole bunches. Spontaneous fermentation at a controlled temperature in
large barrels. Aged on the lees: one year in wood, 6 months in
cement vats. One year in bottle.
