Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG
Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG is obtained only with Vermentino grapes grown exclusively in Gallura and requires the composition of the wine with at least 95% pure Vermentino grapes.
The wine
Denomination: Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG
Blend: Vermentino di Gallura.
Soil: Typical Gallura, sandy and rocky, originating from granite disintegration.
Vinification: After careful selection in the vineyard and cellar and a short maceration in the press, the soft pressing proceeds.
Static decantation and fermentation with selected yeasts in steel tanks, at a controlled temperature.
Aging: In steel tanks, static decantation of the solid parts and further refinement in the bottle for 6 months.
Tasting
View: Bright straw yellow color.
Nose: Aromas of white pulp fruit combined with light citrus notes.
Taste: Fresh, fragrant and savory with hints of aromatic herbs and jasmine.
The finish is long with a broad velvety sensation and at the same time a mineral sensation that completes the bouquet.
Gastronomic Pairings
Suitable to accompany specialties of Mediterranean cuisine. It finds a perfect match with seafood dishes and can also accompany delicate roasted white meats.
