There is a lucky combination that over the years is becoming more and more a reality, that of the Tuscan Apennines and Pinot Noir. Aliotti's Pinot Noir is part of this group of small, high-quality productions.
The reasons for this perfect combination are to be found in purely climatic reasons: the cultivation of the hills close to the Apennine chain guarantees a particularly cool climate, an area if we want "atypical" compared to the predominantly Mediterranean Tuscan climate.
Here the Pinot Noir finds favorable conditions such as the possibility of slow maturation. Furthermore, the soil of this particular area, which comes from the disintegration of underwater magmatic rocks, is particularly rich in minerals, especially iron and copper, which gives a characteristic profile to the wine.
The tasting indicates a powerful but fresh and very drinkable Pinot Noir, an explosive fruity part and an elegant and spicy finish. Another masterpiece from the Apennines.
