CASANOVA DI NERI
100% CABERNET SAUVIGNON

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Pietradonice is Casanova di Neri's interpretation of an international grape variety in
Montalcino. The winery's unique and unmistakable style finds in this wine, which takes its
name from the vineyard where it grows, proof of how Cabernet Sauvignon is shaped by the
territory. Casanova di Neri's meticulous work in the vineyard and its experience and expertise in the cellar
once again become the expression of a unique terroir. The microclimate and the soil
components transform it into a distinct character and a marked personality. The wine and the
vineyard owe their name to the presence of onyx in the soil. It is a deep, superb red,
with aromatics, significant aromas and flavors, very fine tannins, and a sweet, long
finish.
VINTAGE NOTES
Winter 2022 was characterized by low temperatures and almost no rainfall.
Budbreak occurred in the first week of April, in line with
previous vintages. Spring continued with above-average temperatures,
which favored vegetative growth and early flowering. May and June
were dry with typical summer temperatures. The rains that arrived in late July and
August allowed the vines to complete their ripening process in a
balanced and consistent manner. The harvest began in the first ten days of September.

deep. On the palate, it is full-bodied, its tannic texture and the
power of a warm vintage are well balanced by vibrant
