The 2021 vintage was characterized by a mild and dry winter, which favored a slightly early budding in the first week of April. The mild climate was interrupted around April 8-9 due to a considerable drop in temperatures, which led to a slowdown in the growth of the shoots without, however, causing damage to the plants. The months of May and June, regular and not too hot, allowed the plants to be brought back to optimal growth levels, ensuring excellent flowering and fruit set. The summer period continued with temperatures slightly above average and with no rain, leading to veraison in the last week of July. These conditions were interrupted in the third week of August, thanks to two very important rains that brought relief to the plants, rehydrated the soil and favored the start of the grape ripening phase. September was splendid, sunny and with strong night-time temperature variations that allowed the grapes to achieve perfect phenolic and aromatic ripening. TASTING NOTES It has an intense ruby ??red color.
