Castello di Albola's Acciaiolo is the epitome of power and elegance. This exclusive wine, crafted from carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, expresses the unique character of the Radda in Chianti terroir. The name celebrates the historic Casa degli Acciaiuoli, offering a unique sensory experience: a smooth body, enveloping aromas, and a long, persistent finish.
The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected in the vineyard. Upon arrival, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The period in contact with the skins varies from 3 to 4 weeks, with constant extraction monitoring. The wines then undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, followed by approximately 18 months in French oak barriques. Then, they are aged in bottle for approximately 18 months.
