Querciabella is a historic Tuscan estate founded in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni; starting with just one hectare, he harbored a dream of producing not only Sangiovese but also the great international grape varieties of Burgundy and Bordeaux. The estate later passed to his son, who converted production to organic viticulture in the mid-1980s. In 2000, Querciabella obtained biodynamic certification, quickly garnering great acclaim for its elegant and captivating wines.

Querciabella’s Palafreno is a profound wine that releases aromas of forest floor and blackcurrant liqueur, with notes of plum and porcini mushroom. On the palate, it is round, with a long, persistent finish.
