Alìe, figure of Greek mythology, one of the nymphs of the sea, symbol of sensuality and beauty. Alìe, an elegant rosé with a
clear and pure color, with light ruby reflections. A refined balance between Syrah and Vermentino, which find theirs
maximum expression near the sea. Aromas of white flowers, wild strawberries and citrus peel come together in a
delicate structure with hints of minerality typical of the area, which give a long and rich finish. Charming from
aperitif with meals and in good company.
Climate trend
The 2021 vintage reminded us in some respects of 2017, in which the summer was quite hot and where the proximity to
the sea has always remained one of the most important aspects in terms of seasoning, always ensuring a wonderful freshness inside
the grape. The rainy winter period allowed the storage of water reserves for the plant, which guaranteed its excellent state of conservation
vegetative development and were made necessary by the absence of rainfall in the period which lasted from the end of
spring to the end of summer. Spring temperatures slightly below the seasonal average led to a slight slowdown
germination, favoring a good vegetative-productive balance, optimal for less early varieties. The absence of
the rainfall throughout the harvest period led to the collection of grapes with an excellent state of ripeness. All of this
led to a splendid vintage.

Vinification and ageing
The secret of Alìe lies in the union between the territorial characteristics, the management of the vineyard and, obviously, the human one
factor. The grapes, once harvested, were transported to the cellar in a short time so as not to waste or damage the grapes
bunches. One of the most important moments in the production of Alìe was represented by the pressing phase. bunches,
whole and in the absence of oxygen, they were loaded into the press. The pressures applied during this phase were extremely soft and
delicate; this process, together with a careful selection of the musts and a subsequent racking of the same, for no less than 12
hours, has allowed the exaltation of the distinctive characteristics of this seductive rose. The fermentations took place in steel
temperature-controlled steel tanks below 19°C (66°F).
