The Langhe Nebbiolo di Massolino comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo.
It is produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, harvested manually in the second half of October. Fermentation takes place, with maceration for 8-10 days, after which the wine ages in large barrels for more than 12 months.
It is characterized by a dark garnet red color. On the nose it presents an intriguing contrast between predominant hints of raspberry and violet that with aging leave room for secondary aromas that recall those of Barolo. On the palate it is medium-structured and elegant, pleasantly harmonious.
Ideal with soft and blue cheeses, it finds the perfect combination with first courses with meat sauce, grilled red meats and roasts.
