Bruno Giacosa has been one of the most important companies in Piedmont for decades, a guarantee of absolute quality, thanks to a production method strongly linked to tradition. This Nebbiolo, despite being a basic wine, is a red of unmistakable solidity and finesse, with a ruby ??red color, associated with garnet shades. Instead, on the nose it alternates decisive notes of cherry, red fruits and dried flowers, with hints of sweet spices and balsamic notes. Nebbiolo that on the palate is alcoholic and powerful, then moves on to a full and tannic taste, but effectively balanced by an incessant freshness.
The wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, and then continues to refine in large oak barrels for 12 months. A further 5-month stop in glass precedes its release on the market.
