Fattoria le Pupille's Morellino di Scansano is predominantly Sangiovese, with Alicante and Malvasia Nera also being added. Morellino di Scansano is a young, fruity, and fresh red wine. Elisabetta's first harvest was in 1985, and since then, Morellino has always accompanied the winery as a full and consistent expression of the terroir.

Clear, ruby ??red in color with light purple reflections. Fairly consistent.

Nose Notes
Quite intense and complex, with vinous notes of violet and plum. Fairly refined.

Palate Notes
Dry, warm, fairly soft, fresh, fairly tannic, and quite savory.
