The name "Satèn" was coined by Franciacorta producers to indicate the smoothness and delicacy of this wine. It is the ultimate expression of the Chardonnay grape, which extracts structure, elegance, and minerality from these lands.
Fermented 90% in stainless steel and 10% in barrique. The tirage takes place in the spring following the harvest. Disgorgement occurs after a period of aging on the lees that varies from 24 to 30 months. Before being released for sale, the bottles rest for at least 4 months.
With a fine and persistent perlage, the nose presents floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced with good minerality and persistence. It is the quintessential aperitif wine, also suitable for pairing with light first courses and main courses.
Certified Organic by the Consortium for the Control of Organic Products (CCPB), guaranteeing consumers that the product complies with established specifications, from vineyard to bottle, through documentary, inspection, and laboratory controls.
