From the prestigious Domaine Armand Rousseau winery, located in Gevrey-Chambertin in the Côte de Nuits, the Chambertin Grand Cru 2016 is a sublime expression of Pinot Noir. The grapes come from historic vineyards located in the Chambertin climate, protected by clay-limestone soils and a favorable exposure that guarantees balanced ripening. The vinification follows traditional methods, with fermentation in concrete tanks and aging for approximately 18 months in French oak barrels, mainly new. The wine is distinguished by a bright ruby ??red color; on the nose it emerges aromas of ripe red fruits, floral notes of peony, nuances of cocoa and spicy hints.
