This precious Riserva encompasses the finest grapes from eight selected Castello di Albola vineyards, each contributing a distinctive nuance of Sangiovese, vinified as a single varietal. The aroma reveals the strength of the forest and the finesse of the tallest rows, while the palate translates the warmth of the earth into expressive power. Nearly three years of refinement, including fourteen months in oak and a further eighteen in the bottle, concludes an aging process that emphasizes an overflowing personality, smooth tannins, a savory and concentrated palate, and hints of black fruit and cut flowers.
