Chianti Classico Riserva di Riecine is an elegant expression of Sangiovese, produced in vineyards located between 450 and 500 meters above sea level on calcareous and clayey soils. The vines are between 30 and 40 years old and are managed according to ICEA certified organic practices.
The harvest is done manually with a double selection of the grapes, first in the vineyard and then on a vibrating sorting table. Fermentation is carried out with whole grapes in non-vitrified Nomblot cement tanks, with a maceration of 15-20 days. The refinement includes 24 months in large Grenier oak barrels, followed by a further 3 months of rest in the bottle.
It has a clear ruby ??red color with garnet reflections. On the nose it expresses intense aromas of small red fruits such as currants, raspberries, strawberries and cherries, enriched with earthy, balsamic notes and an enveloping spiciness. On the palate it is full, fresh and very tasty, with elegant tannins and a persistent fruitiness that enhances its harmony.
Perfect with mushroom risotto, roast and grilled meat, stewed red meat, game and mature cheeses.
