Chianti Classico Riserva is the fruit of our best Sangiovese and Merlot grapes (90% and 10%), hand-selected from the vineyards. It has a deep, intense ruby ??red color and an enveloping nose with leather, red fruit, black cherry and plum and a finish of sweet spices.
Fermentation takes place in thermo-conditioned vats and maceration varies from 15 to 22 days depending on the vintage, followed by refinement in 5 hl tonneaux for 20-24 months with finissage of 2 months in thermo-conditioned cement. Refinement in bottle for 3-4 months.
