Philipponnat’s Blanc de Noirs Champagne tells the story of the Montagne de Reims through the lens of a Maison that, since 1522, has treated Pinot Noir as the native language of its terroir. In the villages of Mailly, Ambonnay, Verzenay, and Mareuil-sur-Ay—amidst sun-drenched, chalky slopes and vineyards classified as Premier and Grand Cru—the estate employs an approach that focuses exclusively on the first pressing, which captures the chalky, radiant soul of the region with the utmost purity.
