The crystalline, pale blush color is filled with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose has an expressive bouquet with clear notes of fresh fruit. The palate reveals softness, aromas of fresh fruit, elegance, purity, and roundness. The Bergère family has cultivated the Champagne vineyards for several generations. Winemakers since 1848, their properties are predominantly in the Vallée du Petit Morin and Côte des Blancs. Albert Bergère founded Maison A.Bergère in 1949 in Ferebrinages. André Bergère, the youngest of his three sons, took over the helm of the Maison in 1986, significantly increasing the estate's vineyards and, together with his wife Brigitte Martin (this line is named after her), purchasing the new premises at 38-40 Avenue de Champagne. Adrien Bergère, the current Cellar Master, developed the brand and expanded the range of cuvées. Adrien's desire and philosophy with his Champagnes is to maximize the richness of the Maison's terroir. Adrien's goal from the very beginning was to promote the richness of the Maison's terroir, particularly the Vallée du Petit Morin and the Côte de Blancs. He has established his own style in the creation of liqueurs and the use of barriques for aging aimed at further enhancing and enriching the Maison's Champagnes. With over 65 hectares of estate cultivated with "Lutte Raisonnée," Adrien selects the finest grapes and the finest parcels and vinifies them partially in barriques and steel. These exceptional Champagnes are born from the finest parcels only in the finest years.
