VINTAGE:
The 2018 vintage begins with average
winter temperatures, then
in February/March we witnessed
some waves of frost and snow. Spring
began with a fairly mild April,
the rains were limited, while in May
we had consistent rains.
After a hot and dry June,
we had a drop in temperatures in mid-July with
some scattered hailstorms that caused
a delay in the phenological phases of the
vine and for a complete veraison we had to
wait until the end of July.
A north wind in the first
days of September ensured
a good concentration of the
bunches and the absence of serious secondary
diseases, allowing excellent
ripening of the grapes until the
harvest. The harvest period was
characterized by good weather and
mild temperatures.

First two weeks of October

Cryomaceration for about
four days, followed by fermentation and

in the bottle.

14.5% vol.

of Vigna del Suolo: dog rose,
violet and orange blossom. In the mouth the

with salty tannins and great persistence.
