Wine produced by Vigna Le Prata, less than one hectare at 507 meters above sea level. The vineyard, planted in 1988, on soil that is about 5 million years old, created by the erosion of sandstone rocks by wave motion, is covered with a blanket of wild herbs and flowers and is surrounded by olive trees, wild cherry trees, chestnut trees, cypresses, bees and many other elements with which the vineyard lives in perfect balance.
Manual harvest, spontaneous fermentation and about 20-30 days of maceration of the grapes. Aged in 20 and 30 HL oak barrels for about 36 months. Rest in bottle for at least 6 months. The wine has characteristics of elegance, freshness, harmony and complexity. The illustration is made by the Florentine artist Arianna Papini.
