The winter of 2018–2019 was light in rainfall and snowfall. Spring proved very favorable for flowering. In contrast,
at the beginning of summer, temperatures gradually rose, and at this stage we began the manual work of first selection
of the bunches and soil cultivation, with abundant watering of the under-rows. The desired rain arrived in early August, ensuring a good balance of vegetative photosynthesis in the plants. A favorable period followed, with good ventilation and slight temperature fluctuations,
which brought good concentrations and fragrances of varietal and environmental aromas and also favored excellent
fruit integrity and health. A cool, dry September completed and enriched the fruit's fragrant and complex aromatic profile,
while also maintaining good grape health. Phenological ripening was well-balanced, with excellent
acidity and a fairly low pH; these analytical values ??are highly appropriate for laying the foundations for a great and satisfying vintage.
Tasting Notes: Deep, intense ruby ??color, a floral entrance of heather and strawberry tree, followed on the palate by
soft spicy notes accompanied by hints of black berry fruit. The palate
is concentrated and savory, displaying a balance of well-structured yet fine-grained tannins, good
fragrance and freshness supported by significant minerality and a good persistence.
