In the ancient lands of Castello d'Albola, once home to noble Tuscan families, from the Pazzi to the Acciaiuoli to the Ginori Conti, vines have thrived for centuries, producing perfect fruit in these landscapes devoted to the purest beauty. The high altitude, the diverse and particularly suitable soils, and the fortunate exposure form an ideal combination that shines
with its own light in the luminous scenery of Chianti Classico: among vineyards that climb the hillsides, historic buildings, and artistic treasures. A dazzling jewel that requires daily dedication and constant care, and rewards those who love it with extraordinary wines.

Authentic wines with a seductive personality that demand devotion and thoughtfulness, in the constant challenge of equaling the value of Castello di Albola and doing justice to its wonder.

Acciailo is a sumptuous interpretation of the expressive power of the soils surrounding Castello di Albola: from a single vineyard of old vines, a rigorous selection of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes lends character and elegance. The name pays homage to the Acciaiuoli family; in the glass, a precious wine, with a strong and graceful character, a soft and supple body, a seductive bouquet, and a timeless palate.

Soil Type
The land lies on the Alberese geological formation, originating from Pliocene marine deposits. This has resulted in soils with a silty clay texture. The presence of gravel ensures good drainage.
Training Method
Spurred cordon.
Vinification and Aging
The grapes are harvested by hand and selected in the vineyard. Upon arrival, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The period in contact with the skins varies from 3 to 4 weeks, with constant extraction monitoring. The wines then undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, followed by approximately 18 months of aging in French oak barriques. The wine then ages in bottle for approximately 18 months.

Tasting Notes
Color: Highly concentrated ruby ??red.
Aroma: Intense with notes of wild berries, plum, and licorice.
Flavor: Rich and elegant with fine, harmonious acidity and excellent persistence on the palate.
