Unlike the very difficult 2017, 2018 was a balanced year, with precipitation at the right time and ideal weather conditions. The summer was hot, but still punctuated by cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen gradually and with complexity.

The work done every year in the vineyard has really begun to bear fruit, with increasingly smooth and silky tannins. This is perhaps the first year in which our Sangiovese has truly begun to show the character we have always sought: fruity, soft, powerful, aromatic, savory wines.

The Cabernet has also borne fruit, with intense aromas of dark fruit, power and smooth tannins, giving wines that have moved from the monumental dimension of previous years to a more complex and articulated dimension.
