BRANCAIA IL BLU "...is the wine that put Brancaia on the map of Tuscany's most celebrated producers" (Robert Parker).
IL BLU is made from the most rigorous selection of the finest grapes from our Chianti Classico vineyards.
It is a blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Sangiovese, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, which ages in French barriques (two-thirds new) for 18 months, then 3 months in concrete, and finally for at least a year in bottle.
With exquisite tannins and a lingering finish, IL BLU is a beautifully structured wine, captivating with its complexity and elegance.
