After a mild and fairly dry winter, a relatively cool early spring was recorded, with a humid April and a generally dry May. The regular temperatures ensured excellent vegetative development and perfect flowering. After the hot and dry months of June and July, the rainy August and a particularly mild September allowed for consistent and regular grape ripening. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese harvest began in the first week of October. Overall, it was a very good vintage in terms of quality. Acciaiolo 2015 Acciaiolo is a sumptuous interpretation of the expressive power of the soils around Castello di Albola: from a single vineyard of old vines, a rigorous selection of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes lends character and elegance, while a small percentage of Sangiovese outlines its most authentic nuances. The name pays homage to the Acciaiuoli family; in the glass, a precious wine with a strong and graceful character, a soft and supple body, a seductive bouquet, and an infinite palate.
