IMPRESSIONS

Nose of coffee and spices and flower petals.
On the palate it presents tropical fruit, citrus fruits and great aromatic complexities.
The finish is long and persistent.

THE WINE
The idea, as already with Vulcaia Sauvignon, was to make the Soave area known, not yet through its Classico wine, but with an interpretation of Sauvignon.
The wood-fermented version of the same wine, which we have called Vulcaia Fumé, has attracted considerable interest from the outset due to its fatness and the powerful component of tropical fruit, coffee and citrus and floral aromatic notes.
Interpretation of Sauvignon on volcanic soil produced in the Soave Classico area.
Production outside the trend styles and groups.
Unique wine of its kind, there are no similar wines.

CHARACTERISTICS
Sauvignon Blanc.
Fermentation in 30% new strong toasted and 70% used barriques.

RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS ARE SMOKED SALMON, CAVIAR, BOTTARGA, TEMPURA.

LABEL
The label shows the plan of the Berga theater in Vicenza, built in Roman times (1st-2nd century AD) under the emperor Hadrian, using the "opus caementicium" technique with soft Berici limestones, appreciated for their ease of processing. Damaged by earthquakes and a fire, the theater was dismantled between 1400 and 1700, and its marbles and statues used for the construction of various buildings. The greatest Venetian architect, Andrea Palladio, had designed the plan in 1500 ("Plan of the ancient theater of Vicenza"). The drawing takes up the reconstruction of the plan, from the V book of Vitruvius by Daniele Barbaro (1556), redesigned and adapted by the architect Nicholas Wood.
