The white Roero Arneis by Malvirà is a beautiful expression of what the Arneis vine is capable of giving on the hills of the province of Cuneo. It is a young and cheerful wine, characterized by a refreshing and balanced drink. A label with which the Damonte brothers, owners of the winery, confirm their production philosophy, made up of identifying wines, which manage, also thanks to the choice to manage the vineyards organically, to express the characteristics of the individual crus of origin. Just as happens with this Roero Arneis, natural and authentic, excellent for uncorking both at aperitif time and during more informal dinners.
This Roero Arneis comes from the pure use of the native vine of the same name, cultivated by the Malvirà winery in various vineyards spread across clayey, calcareous and sandy soils. The grapes are grown according to organic farming principles, which therefore allow us to have expressive and territorial bunches. The grapes, carefully harvested during the month of September, ferment alcoholicly in steel containers, where they then remain to refine for a period of between 4 and 8 months, at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled.
This Roero Arneis wine appears upon visual examination with a very bright color, which recalls the shade of straw yellow. The olfactory spectrum that develops on the nose recalls refreshing sensations, in which aromas of fruit, flowers and wild herbs follow one another in a delicate balance of notes. On the palate it is light-bodied, slim and smooth, with a pleasantly fresh sip and an always harmonious drink. A label with which Malvirà brings us into contact with a simple and genuine expression of Arneis, an indigenous grape variety to which the winery dedicates several labels within its range of products.
