Jermann’s “Lonsblau” Pinot Nero is the brainchild of Silvio Jermann, who is passionate about this grape variety. The vineyards are situated on the characteristic *ponca* (marl and sandstone) soils of the Collio region, a terroir that allows the Pinot Nero to express its true character in a unique way. The nose reveals delicate aromas of cherry and red fruits, harmoniously balanced by spicy notes and hints of fine wood. On the palate, it is elegant and refined, featuring polished tannins and a persistent freshness. It makes a perfect pairing for fine white meats, such as *coniglio in tecia* (pan-cooked rabbit).
